OneDocx is the SharePoint and Microsoft 365 practice of Momin Solutions, a UK company with offices in London and Austin.

Our story

Momin Solutions was founded in London in 2010 as a software development and advisory firm. Most of our work was on Microsoft technologies from the start, and SharePoint soon became our speciality: customer portals, document-management systems and intranets for UK organisations.

As the work grew, we built our own back-office development centre, managed from London, and kept investing in training as Microsoft moved from on-premises SharePoint to SharePoint Online, Power Automate and now Copilot. More recently we opened Momin Sol LLC in Austin, Texas, to work more closely with clients in the US and Canada. Today we work with clients across Europe, North America and the Middle East.

Along the way we built OneDocx for Law, a complete practice-management system for law firms, built on SharePoint Online. Building our own product taught us how far SharePoint can go and where it trips people up. OneDocx now brings that experience to small and medium businesses that want SharePoint to just work.

Two long-running SharePoint engagements with UK organisations. The tools have moved on since, but the problems are the same ones small and medium businesses bring us today.

Intranet, website and customer portal · 2010–2016

CACHE: one SharePoint platform for staff, centres and the public

CACHE (the Council for Awards in Care, Health and Education, now part of NCFE) was the UK’s specialist awarding organisation for the care, health and education sectors, working with 1,200 colleges and training centres. For six years we ran their whole SharePoint practice, from design and governance to delivery.

cachezone customer portal: redesigned and rebuilt for 1,200 centres, each signing up and managing its own users, addresses and staff.
Invoices in one place: pulled live from Microsoft Dynamics CRM and GP.
Private document areas: contracts and briefs stored, revised and archived, visible only to the right people.
Single sign-on: centres reach CACHE’s other applications from inside the portal without signing in again.
Intranet and public website: cachepoint for staff, plus CACHE’s public website, both on SharePoint.

What it means for you: the same permissions, document and portal work we now do in SharePoint Online and Power Automate.

Gamit: ROAM, aircraft technical records on SharePoint

Gamit supports airlines, maintenance organisations and aircraft owners. Its ROAM platform is the central, searchable library of records that proves an aircraft is airworthy, built to scale from one aircraft to over a thousand. We designed, architected and delivered it over eight years.

Built to scale: an architecture on SharePoint that handles millions of records and returns search results in a fraction of a second.
Design and branding: graphic design, HTML and CSS templates, and a fully branded SharePoint site.
Custom features: web parts and SharePoint features written in C# for its publishing and document functions.
Release by release: a product roadmap delivered by a combined UK and back-office team.

Abdul Hafeez, Founder & Director

Abdul has more than 25 years in software delivery and has worked with SharePoint since the SharePoint 2007 days. He ran CACHE’s SharePoint platform for six years and led the architecture of ROAM at Gamit, and now leads every OneDocx project personally. He enjoys turning messy file shares and half-finished SharePoint sites into something a team actually likes using.
